코로나로 되는게 없다는

아들에게

뭐라 해주고 싶은데

아버지로써

해줄 말이 없다.

To my son who doesn't have anything to do with COVID-19,
I want to say something.
I have nothing to say as a father.

 

음악의 길이 어떤건지?

어떻게 가야할지?

What is the path of music?
How can I get there?

 

아버지로서 해줄 수 있는 말은

그럴지라도

미래를 꿈꾸며

믿음안에서

What I can say as a father is...
Even so,
Dreaming of the future.
in faith

 

다시 털고 일어서자는

이 말뿐이다.

Let's shake it off and stand up.
That's all I have to say.

 

인생 다 그런거야 아들!

인생이 다 그런 거란다.

잘 될 것 같아 보여도

실패투성이 연속 인걸

It's all like that. Life is...

Even if it looks like it's going to work out,
It's a series of failures.

 

잘되는 것 손에 잡히고

실패한 것 샐 수 없어도

The number of things that are successful is small enough to be grasped.

Even if I can't count how many things I've failed

 

실망하거나 좌절하지 말거라

Don't be disappointed or discouraged

 

희망의 파편들에 찔러

고통의 진액으로 모여

차츰 단단해져 갈 무렵

Stabbed by shrapnel of hope.

Gathered in the thick liquid of pain

When it gradually hardens

 

성숙되고 어른스러워진

네 자신을 발견하고는

의미있는 웃음을 지을거야

Mature and mature.
when you find yourself
you will have a meaningful smile

 

그날을 기대하며

처진 어깨보단

가슴을 더 펴고

Looking forward to that day.
Rather than drooping shoulders,

open your chest out

 

땅보단 하늘을 바라보고

하늘보다는 미래를

더 멀리 더 넓게 보자꾸나

Looking up at the sky rather than the ground
The future rather than the sky.
Let's look further and wider.

 

아들!

미래의 가치는

아들이 꿈꾸는 만큼

My son!
The value of the future is...
As much as my son dreams,

 

그러나

현실은 그 꿈을

부수고 부수겠지

But,

Reality will destroy and destroy that dream

 

그래도 꿈꾼다고

돈 달라하지 않고

even so
Just because you're dreaming,
without asking for money

 

헛된 꿈이라고

손가락질하지 않아

It's a vain dream.
don't point fingers

 

부서지고 쓰러져도

더 단단해지도록

Broken and
even if you fall down,
To make it tighter

 

일어서고 또 일어서

오뚜기같이 사는 거야

Stand up and stand up again
you live like a tumbling doll

 

그게 젊음이고

그게 인생인 게야

그게 하나님의

사람인 게야

That's youth.

that's life

That's what a man of God is
